Hello Hammerheads, 

Swimmers should wear their team suits (black and/or purple) to Time Trials on Saturday, June 15. Our team photographer and parent volunteer, Suz Kashnow, will take candid photos and individual swimmer photos for our team roster. These individual photos will be uploaded to Swimtopia to assist our coaches and volunteers in getting to know our swimmers by name more quickly.

Families will have the option to purchase a digital copy of the roster photos for $10 (proceeds support the swim team). More information on purchasing the individual photos will be sent out after Time Trials.

In addition to roster photos, throughout the season the Hunting Hills Hammerheads Swim Team may take photographs (individual and in groups) of swimmers under the age of 18, that may include your child during their participation on the swim team. All photos will be taken and published in alignment with Central Maryland Swim League policies and team policies.

Photos/videos taken may be used in a variety of ways, such as:

• Posted on the Hunting Hills Swim Club or Hunting Hills Hammerheads Swim Team website and social media pages.
• Included in blog posts or newspaper articles.
• Printed on posters or marketing materials to promote the Hunting Hills Swim Club or Hammerheads Swim Team.
• Used for instructional purposes at swim practices and during swim meets.

All photographs will observe generally accepted standards, in particular:

• Action shots will be in celebration of the sporting activity.
• Action shots will not be taken or retained where the photograph reveals a torn or displaced swimsuit.
• Photographs will not be taken from behind swimming blocks at the start of a race, or exhibit a child climbing out of the swimming pool.
• Photographs will not be taken in locker rooms or bathrooms.

If you do not consent to the use of photos that include your child, please complete the opt-out form.
