Hello Hammerheads! Please read this email in full for all of this week’s details.

Cheers to our awesome swimmers and the hard work they put in at our first meet this past Saturday against Freedom. We loved to see swimmers cheering for their teammates! The final score was 283 FR - 180 HH but the real victory was the effort, progress, and teamwork shown. Numerous swimmers cut their times, won their events, and a few individual swimmers and relay teams qualified for Straehle!

A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers! Your time, energy, and support are what make our swim team successful, and we truly appreciate everything you do to help our meets run smoothly.

As we prepare for our first home meet, we’d also like to thank everyone who has already signed up for volunteer shifts. We still have a few opportunities available, including a 1st-half Stroke & Turn Judge, as well as volunteers to help with tent city setup before and after the meet. If you’re able to lend a hand, we’d greatly appreciate your support. Every volunteer helps create a great experience for our swimmers and families!

Week Ahead:

• Morning and Evening practices continue per the summer schedule (Practice Schedule - Hunting Hills Swim Team )
• Pep Rally - treats, tie-dye shirts, and fun!
  • Friday June 26th from 5:00-8:00 pm (approximately)
  • Hospitality sign up for Pep Rally treats and materials is open
• Meet Set Up
  • 7:00pm - 8:00pm (for signed up volunteers)
• HOME Meet on Saturday 6/27 against Five Oaks (meet schedule)
  • Declare meet participation on SwimTopia by Wednesday 6/24 (you must select attending or not attending)
  • Please arrive by 7:45 am and have your swimmers ready to jump in the pool promptly at 8:00am (with goggles and swim caps). Please review the gear list to come prepared.

  • 1st half Stroke & Turn Judge and Tent City Assistant needed
• Parking for HOME Meet
  • As we saw at our first meet, accommodating two teams can be challenging. To welcome our guests this Saturday, we are reserving most of the main pool parking lot for their families. All member families should park along Nottingham Rd but do not park in the yards of any residents and do not block the roadway.

• Registration

  • Swim team registration is now closed. If you need to add a family member to a registration for contact information or volunteer signups, please contact the swim team at [email protected] for assistance - any family members must be manually added.

• Gear Orders

  • If you ordered shirts during early registration, these have arrived and are available for pick during afternoon practices. All swim caps are also available and we have more on-site for sale. If you ordered shirts during regular registration that ended on June 12th, these have been ordered and are expected in 2-3 weeks.
